Frequently asked questions
Is the Jupiter Card a physical card?
Not yet - it is digital-only for now and lives in the app. Physical cards are planned for later. You can still pay in store by adding it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What currency does the card use?
It is backed by your USDC balance, credited 1:1 to USD. You fund it with USDC on the Solana network.
KYC and verification
Identity verification is the step most people get stuck on. Get it right the first time and the rest is easy.
Complete Jupiter ID with a photo ID, a selfie, and a recent proof of address. A recent bank statement PDF in your own name is the safest choice. 2-4 minutes to submit; up to 24 hours to review.
Jupiter ID is required before any Spend feature. Users in this region also need a proof of address on top of ID and selfie.
- A photo ID (passport, Singapore NRIC, or driver's licence)
- A proof of address dated within the last 3 months
- The original file (not a screenshot), in English
- The document in your own name
- Get your proof of address right before you start.
A utility bill, telecom bill, bank statement, or tax invoice - dated within the last 3 months, in your own name, the full page uncropped, the original file (not a screenshot), in English.
- Complete Jupiter ID: photo ID + selfie.
Passport, Singapore NRIC, or driver's licence.
- Upload your proof of address and submit.
A bank statement is the safest choice, and the emailed PDF is fine - you do not need a paper copy.
- Wait for review.
Usually quick, but it can take up to 24 hours. Start it, then prepare your funding while it clears.
The most common reason a check fails is a proof of address older than 3 months. Download a fresh bank statement PDF in your own name and you will usually pass the first time.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my proof of address keep getting rejected?
Almost always one fixable detail: it must be dated within the last 3 months, in your own name, show your full name and address uncropped, be the original file (not a screenshot), and be in English. A recent bank statement PDF is the safest choice.
Can I use the PDF my bank emailed me?
Yes. The emailed PDF is fine - you do not need a printed or paper copy. Just upload the original file, not a screenshot or a photo of your screen.
How long does verification take?
Submitting takes about 2-4 minutes. Review is usually quick but can take up to 24 hours.
Fund your card
Your card holds a USDC-on-Solana balance, credited 1:1 to USD. Buy USDC on a licensed Singapore exchange and withdraw it on the Solana network to your Jupiter deposit address.
Buy USDC on an exchange, withdraw it on the Solana network to your card's deposit address. About 1 hour the first time, then ~15 minutes to top up.
- A verified account (KYC done)
- Singpass + a Singapore bank account in your own name
- Money to load
- Your Jupiter Solana deposit address copied
- Sign up and verify Coinbase with Singpass. Minutes, no document photos.
- Pass the MAS risk-awareness quiz. About 10-15 minutes, and you can retake it.
- Deposit SGD via PayNow. Scan Coinbase's QR so the reference auto-fills. Free and near-instant, from a bank account in your own name.
- Convert SGD to USDC using the conversion route. Lowest cost. Do not card-buy and do not buy another asset first.
- Withdraw USDC on the Solana network. Paste your Jupiter Solana deposit address and double-check the network is Solana / SPL.
- Open Add money in the Jupiter app and pick Solana.
In Spend mode, tap "Add money", then select network: Solana. Copy the deposit address shown.
- Withdraw your USDC on the Solana network.
On the exchange withdraw screen, set the network to Solana / SPL - not Base, Ethereum, Tron, or Arbitrum.
- Paste the deposit address and send.
On your first send you may get Travel Rule questions - declare the destination as a wallet hosted by another service (recipient: yourself; service: Jupiter), not a self-hosted wallet.
- Wait for it to arrive.
USDC on Solana lands in your Jupiter balance in about 1-4 minutes. A first send can trigger a short security review - this is normal.
Withdrawing on Solana costs about $0.01 in network fees. On Ethereum it would be roughly $15. Picking the Solana network keeps funding nearly free.
Send only on Solana. The deposit page may default to Base - switch it to Solana. Confirm Solana on BOTH ends (the Jupiter address and the exchange withdrawal network). Funds sent on the wrong network are lost forever.
Frequently asked questions
Which network do I withdraw USDC on?
Solana (SPL). Select Solana on both ends - the Jupiter deposit address and the exchange withdrawal network. Sending on the wrong network (Base, Ethereum, Tron, Arbitrum) can permanently lose your funds.
How long does a deposit take to arrive?
USDC on Solana usually lands in your Jupiter balance within about 1-4 minutes after the withdrawal confirms. A first-ever send can trigger a short exchange security review.
Can I withdraw money back out of the card?
No. Card balances are spend-only, so only deposit what you plan to spend.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Add your card to your phone wallet so you can tap to pay in store. You will need a funded card first.
Apple Pay
Open the Wallet app, tap +, choose Debit/Credit Card, enter the details from Jupiter's "Show Details", then verify.
Google Pay
Open Google Wallet, choose Payment Method, enter the card details manually, accept the issuer terms, and verify by SMS or email code.
Good to know
Have ready: a funded card. Rough time: about 2-3 minutes to add; paying is then instant. Real-world wallet support can vary by issuer and bank, so if a tap is declined, the in-app or online card details are a reliable fallback.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my card details to add to a wallet?
In the Jupiter app, open the card and tap "Show Details" to see the number, expiry, and security code to enter into Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Your first payment
Spend from your card balance. Here is how, and what to expect with cashback.
Two ways to pay
- Add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay and tap to pay.
- Use the card in-app or online (ride-hailing, food, shopping). QR Pay also works in Singapore, but it earns no cashback.
Good to know about cashback
Cashback is earned on card payments only, not QR Pay. It is paid to your Earn balance after the transaction settles, so it does not appear instantly. There are no in-app transaction notifications yet, so do not be surprised by the delay.
Frequently asked questions
Does QR Pay earn cashback?
No. Cashback is earned on card payments only, not QR Pay. It is paid to your Earn balance after the transaction settles, so it is not instant.
Fees and limits
A quick reference for fees and limits. Always confirm current numbers in the official app.

Troubleshooting
Common problems and quick fixes. This page is community-maintained and growing.
Common issues
- Verification rejected: almost always one fixable detail on the proof of address (recent, own name, full page, original file, English). See the KYC and verification guide.
- Deposit not showing: confirm you withdrew on the Solana network and to the correct Solana deposit address. Wrong-network sends can be lost.
- Tap-to-pay declined: wallet support can vary; try the in-app or online card details as a fallback.
